William Hamley, a Cornishman from Bodmin, England, started a toy store in 1760 with the goal of making it “the best toy shop in the world!” in Holborn, London. He had no idea that this was only the beginning of a very significant event. Every Hamleys location provides kids with a wonderful experience and adults with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relive childhood. They may play with toys there, see toys being shown live, and engage with their favorite toy characters.
